The property for which you are applying for tenancy is owned by the Laguna Beach Community Land Trust (“LBCLT”), a non-governmental public charity The mission of LBCLT is to provide affordable housing and artistic/craft workspace for the Laguna Beach community. While affordable housing tenants are subject to specific income limits, this requirement is not applied for workspace tenants. However, LBCLT does require that the tenant’s primary commercial activity is the execution of their art or craft. In addition, there is the requirement that tenant’s artistic/craft requires a light industrial facility to execute their work and that the leased space will be utilized a significant amount of time. To establish that you would qualify for tenancy, please provide answers to the following questions.
Please provide the following documentation • Your professional resume • Description of your artistic/craft activity in the past 3 years. (i.e., exhibitions, sales, installations, commissions) • Three references regarding the practice of your art/craft.
